I wrote 204 commits on the Nomad UI at HashiCorp — evaluations, namespace filtering, variable permissions, HCL visualization. I've taught 1,000+ learners across Parsons, UConn, CUNY, and NYC coding bootcamps. And I built Chai with Jai from scratch: 26+ technical books, live workshops, an AI-powered course diagnostic tool, and a production API platform I'm shipping right now to teach myself DevOps and CNCF in public.
I write code, I teach developers, and I ship in public.
- Published 26+ technical books covering AI agents, Claude Code, deep learning, JavaScript, Node.js, TypeScript, and developer productivity — available as a free, open-access library at grow.chaiwithjai.com
- Built Teacher's Pet, an AI-powered tool that tells course creators why their courses fail — with API, file upload, and composite scoring against learning science frameworks
- Ran live Claude Code workshops end-to-end: audience research, ticket sales, pre-work materials, hands-on instruction, and structured follow-up with video intros and student testimonials
- Created three developer learning paths (early-career, mid-career, self-taught) with a 60-minute diagnostic entry point and tailored 8-week curricula
- Currently teaching myself DevOps and CNCF by shipping teach.chaiwithjai.com as a production API platform — Go backend, TypeScript frontend, CI/CD pipelines, tenant auth, OpenAPI specs, and Ansible provisioning
- Built the publishing and content infrastructure myself — Claude Code for writing, LangSmith for observability, Writebook for publishing, Digital Ocean for hosting — and I use every tool I teach
- Contributed 204 commits to the Nomad UI — HashiCorp's workload orchestration platform used across distributed infrastructure at scale
- Built core UI features: evaluation detail sidebar with pagination, namespace filtering and glob matching, variable permissions, HCL job specification visualization, service health monitoring with long polling
- Modernized the frontend codebase: Glimmer component migrations, async/await refactoring, Percy visual regression testing, node pool models
- Worked across teams with backend engineers, PMs, and developer advocates to turn complex infrastructure concepts into experiences developers could actually use
- Taught 1,000+ learners across Parsons School of Design, University of Connecticut, CUNY, NYC coding bootcamps, and community programs — people who didn't think of themselves as programmers
- Built lesson plans grounded in learning science: guided practice, progressive complexity, immediate application to real projects
- Students consistently reported changing how they approach problems, not just learning a new language
